Housing Options in Bothell

The King County Housing Authority provides the following rental housing and rental assistance programs in Bothell.

Section 8 Vouchers

Section 8 vouchers help people with low incomes rent homes on the private market. With a voucher, you pay at least 28 percent, but not more than 40 percent (in the first year), of household income for rent and utilities. KCHA pays the difference between your portion of the rent and the amount your landlord requests. Learn about Section 8 vouchers.

Subsidized Housing

Subsidized housing – which includes public housing – helps people with low incomes rent apartments they can afford. In most cases, they pay no more than 30 percent of their household's monthly income for rent and utilities. KCHA owns and manages nearly all of this type of housing and many communities offer on-site social services. Learn about subsidized housing.

Northlake House

Northlake House

Comfortable apartments, some with balconies, on a quiet street in Bothell. The surroundings are peaceful but not remote, just blocks from the center of the city. Northlake is equipped with controlled entry and elevators. There is a multi-purpose room with a kitchen, laundry facilities, a crafts room and a courtyard. A support services coordinator provides referrals and arranges social activities.

Park Royal

Park Royal

Prime location in Bothell near trails and parks. Park Royal offers one- and two-bedroom units; rent covers water and garbage. The building has two common laundry rooms and residents have assigned parking. Walking distance to Cascadia Community College and UW Bothell campus.

Other Rental Housing

KCHA's other rental housing helps people with low incomes rent apartments they can afford. Some tenants pay a percentage of their income toward rent each month, while others pay a flat rent amount. Heritage Park

Apartments and townhomes in a convenient Bothell location. Amenities include laundry facilities, a children’s playground, covered parking, and extra storage space. Heritage Park occupies a great location, within two blocks of shops, parks and restaurants in the center of the city. Bastyr University, the University of Washington-Bothell and Lake Washington Technical College are all in Bothell.
