Invitation for Bid: Mechanical and Electrical at Sunnydale Apartments



Scope of Work

A. Install twenty (20), 1-ton capacity split-system ductless heat pumps (DHPs) with wall-mounted
indoor head units. Existing baseboard and in-wall heaters and associated thermostats are to be
removed and drywall patched and painted in these locations.
B. Install one (1) three headed split-system ductless heat pumps (DHPs) with one (1) wall-mounted
indoor head unit and two (2) floor mounted indoor head units.
C. Install twenty-three (23) wireless, wall-mounted DHP thermostats.
D. Install twenty-one (21) quick disconnects with built in service outlets.
E. Install seventeen (17), through wall ERV’s in living rooms of the units.
F. Install three (3) spot energy recovery ventilators (ERVs), located in newly constructed dropsoffits
in the units in basement community and laundry rooms. The firm is responsible for
construction of the drop soffits and any core drilling required through block walls.
G. Replace seventeen (17) bathroom fans with new energy star rated bathroom fans with brushless
DC motors and a LED light.
H. Remove seventeen (17) bath fan controls and replace with programmable humidistat bath fan
I. Install one (1) ERVs in the attic above the hallway, ducted with rigid 6’ ducting with fire
dampers at the supply and return.
