Utility Allowances
The King County Housing Authority provides a monthly utility allowance
to the Housing Choice participant for participant-paid utilities.
The allowance is based on an average utility rate for the area and
is given in the form of a credit to the participant's total monthly
rental payment. Any utility usage above the allowed average will be
the participant's responsibility.
