Landlord Opportunities with KCHA

The King County Housing Authority provides property owners and landlords opportunities to find tenants and improve their properties. KCHA enjoys partnerships with important rental housing owner organizations, including the Rental Housing Association of Puget Sound.

Housing Choice Voucher Program (Section 8)

Landlords who choose to participate in the Housing Choice Voucher Program enjoy reliable rental income and a source of new tenants.

Weatherization

If you provide multifamily housing and a majority of your tenants qualify as low-income households, the King County Housing Authority can help you weatherize your properties with grants and/or low-interest loans. The Weatherization program provides energy efficiency and indoor air quality improvements, including installation of insulation and thermal windows, furnace repairs, installation of mechanical ventilation and air sealing against drafts.

To find out if you qualify, or for more information about KCHA's Weatherization program, please call (206) 214-1240.
