To effectively serve residents, the Housing Authority has management offices located in communities throughout King County. Administration and specialized departments are in offices in Tukwila. Location, directions and contact information are found below. Please consult the King County Metro Transit page if you wish to use public transit.

Public Disclosure Requests

Most of KCHA’s records are available for public review through the Public Disclosure Request Act, modified in 2005 by RCW 42.56.070.  If you would like to request to review or to have copies of records, please complete KCHA’s Public Disclosure Request Form (pdf) and mail or fax to Connie Davis, Public Information Officer, 600 Andover Park W., Tukwila, WA 98188, Fax: 206-574-1104.  If you wish to email your request, please email publicdisclosurerequest@kcha.org and include:  your full name, address and phone number.  Be as specific as possible in what records you desire to access.

Filing a Claim

Washington state law requires that the King County Housing Authority be notified of a claim prior to a lawsuit being filed against it. KCHA has 60 days after a claim is submitted to accept or reject the claim. If KCHA takes no action, the claim is deemed rejected.

KCHA has designated Connie Davis, Risk Management-Tort Claims, 600 Andover Park West, Tukwila, WA 98188 as the official to initially receive all claims directed to the housing authority. KCHA will not accept claim forms submitted to any other location. When submitting a claim, it is important to provide as much information as possible including copies of all repair bills or estimates, medical bills, photographs, and any other documents supporting your claim.

KCHA has developed a Tort Claim Form that contains the necessary information needed to review your claim. Please remember that the investigative process may take some time.

Reporting Misrepresentation

The King County Housing Authority takes pride in the quality and integrity of its programs. If you know someone whom you believe is misrepresenting information to benefit from a KCHA program, we want to know about it.

If you believe misrepresentation is occurring with the Housing Choice (Section 8) program, please call KCHA's recorded fraud hotline at 206-214-1353 or the fraud investigator at 206-214-1353 and/or download a Fraud Allegation Complaint form - Section 8 (pdf), complete it and mail or fax it to: Program Integrity, 15455 65th Ave. S., Suite 200, Tukwila, WA 98188, Fax: 206-357-2432.
