Description
The King County Housing Authority will accept Bids from Qualified General Contractors to furnish labor, materials and necessary equipment to perform civil and utility work to prepare site for PSE installation of a new transformer and associated equipment as listed in the bid documents.
Scope of Work
The Burndale Transformer Project consists of (but is not limited to) civil and utility work to prepare site for PSE installation of a new transformer and associated equipment. The work area is at the front of the property by the main driveway entrance (west side). Contractor will be responsible for all work in the right of way, traffic and safety controls on site and all prep work. Contractor to provide all materials, labor and equipment to prepare site per the drawings, specifications and scope of work (SOW.)
Contractor will be responsible to restore all paving, curbs, sidewalks, landscaping and ROW impacted by the work, to preconstruction existing conditions. Project duration is 60 calendar days. The wage rates for this project are HUD Non Routine Maintenance. Contractor will be responsible to coordinate with PSE for material deliveries, required inspections and all other work described in the drawings, specifications and the SOW. Due to nature of this project, contractor agrees to suspend any delay claims caused by coordination issues by PSE and their contractors.
