How To Participate in our
Housing Repair Program
Our Housing Repair
program is available to income-eligible households
located in King County. In general, you must have a household
income 80 percent or less of the area median
income. Using King County and Bellevue Community
Development Block Grants (CDBGs) as well as
the county’s HOME funds, the Housing Authority provides essential
repairs for about 130 single-family, owner-occupied
homes a year. Interest-free, deferred-payment loans are available
for repairs.
Before KCHA can provide housing repairs, you must apply
to other agencies for funding. Homeowners living in King County
outside Bellevue must apply for home repair assistance
through the King
County
Housing & Community Development Program.
Homeowners in Bellevue should apply through the
city's Home
Repair Program. Staff
at these offices can assess your eligibility.
