Early Childhood Learning

Child reading book in learning center

Did you know that in the first five years of life, your child's brain develops more and faster than at any other time?

Talk, sing, read, play

Children learn from the day they are born. Talking, singing, reading and playing with your child – in any language – helps to build their brain and prepare them for success in school and in life.

Early learning matters

Young children who take part in early learning programs do better later in school. You can help your child by enrolling them in Play & Learn groups, preschools, Head Start, and other programs before they reach age 5. These programs help children make friends and gain the learning skills they need to do well in school.
