Invitation for Bid: Plaza 17 Boiler System Upgrade

Description
The King County Housing Authority will accept Bids from Qualified General Contractors to furnish labor, materials, and the necessary equipment to complete the boiler system upgrade as listed in the bid documents.
Scope of Work
The Contractor will be replacing, installing, testing, and commissioning (including but not limited to) the following items:
• New circuit setters
• New T stats
• Replace/Add new thermostatic radiator valves/ heater circuit setter at lobbies and offices
• Replace thermostatic radiator valves/ heater circuit setter in living units
• Clean strainer
• Add acid neutralization trap to each boiler condensate drain discharge lines
• Rebalance flow control valves
• Clean, test, and commission two existing boilers
• Rebalance flow control valves
• Replace boiler loop pumps
• Rebuild two pumps with new bearings and seals
• Relocate pressure sensor
• Install new PT ports
• Relocate outside air sensor
• Flush and balance the entire loop piping system and provide a report
• Chemically treat and refill piping system
• Insulate missing pipe insulation
• Flushing out the entire Hydronic loop system and chemically treating water after refilling
• Recommission and reset parameters and schedules for the boiler control panel and hydronic loop pump VFD’s
