Description
The King County Housing Authority (KCHA) is issuing a competitive Request for Proposals (RFP) for a qualified organization to provide a variety of moving related services for residents.
Scope of Work
This Request for Proposal (RFP) seeks qualified contractors to provide moving services as needed, including occasionally on weekends. KCHA will accept proposals from contractors interested in part or all of the agency's moving needs. Contractors may bid on one or more of the moving categories listed in the Request for Proposals section, but ideally will have the capacity to undertake all the moves required within that category. Relocation will take place from various locations in King County to anywhere within approximately a 60-mile radius of KCHA central office (600 Andover Park West, Tukwila, WA 98188), but the cast majority of moves cover distances of 10 miles or less.
KCHA developments are comprised of one-story to mid-rise detached and attached developments. These units are a mix of studio, one, two, three, four, and five bedroom homes. KCHA appliances and fixtures are not to be moved. The successful contractor will have the ability to address all of the points noted in the Request for Proposal section.
