Request for Proposals: Budgeting Software for the King County Housing Authority
KCHA is requesting proposals from qualified software vendors (Vendors) that can provide a Budgeting software solution that meets the functional and technical requirements defined in this RFP. A detailed description of the products and services required are contained in Section 3 –Scope of Work of this RFP. Prior to submitting a proposal, Vendors are advised to carefully read the instructions below, including any solicitation attachments and exhibits. KCHA has attempted to provide all information available. It is the responsibility of each Vendor to review, evaluate, and, where necessary, request any clarification prior to submission of a proposal. Vendors are not to contact other KCHA personnel with any questions or clarifications other than according to the process defined in this RFP. If clarification or interpretation of this solicitation is considered necessary by KCHA, a written addendum shall be issued and the information will be posted on KCHA’s website. Any interpretation of, or correction to, this solicitation will be made only by addendum issued by KCHA. It is the responsibility of each Vendor to check KCHA’s website to ensure that it has received and reviewed any and all addenda to this solicitation. KCHA will not be responsible for any other explanations, corrections to, or interpretations of the documents, including any oral information.
Scope of Work
KCHA intends to purchase Budgeting software and will choose a solution that most closely meets its requirements for flexibility and configurability, functionality specifically defined in this RFP, and that provides an open system architecture that allows interfacing to KCHA applications. The solution selected will be implemented using an approach recommended by the selected Vendor and approved by KCHA. KCHA expects process improvement through implementation of new systems and intends to adopt the best practices offered by the selected solution. Vendors who are invited to demonstrate their product should be prepared to discuss the application’s best practices and use case for housing authorities.
