Invitation for Bid: Woodcreek Lane Site Improvements

Description

The King County Housing Authority will accept Bids from Qualified General Contractors to furnish labor, materials and necessary equipment to complete site upgrades as listed in the bid documents.

BIDDERS ARE TO DELIVER THEIR BIDS TO 600 ANDOVER PARK WEST, TUKWILA, WA BETWEEN 11:00AM AND 1:00PM. BIDS WILL BE OPENED AND RESULTS POSTED BY END OF THE DAY BIDS ARE DUE.

Scope of Work

The Woodcreek Lane Storm & Site project is comprised of (but not limited to) the following work items: removal and replacement of selected walkways, curbs, and speed bumps, providing parking lot asphalt grind, overlay, and/or new asphalt. Removal, and disposal of stumps and roots. Work also includes removal of existing fence and concrete pad for dumpsters at south end of the building and installation of a new 8” thick concrete pad with steel reinforcements and a 1” x 6” TK cedar vertical fence and posts around perimeter of new garbage enclosure. Installation of hard pipe connecting existing downspouts to the existing storm lines. On the backside of the buildings, a new storm ditch will be installed. Contractor to provide trench in the front of the building to connect new storm drainage lines to existing storm line. Contractor will also include excavation, foundation drainage, insulation, waterproofing, vapor barrier, concrete board and flashing on three sides of exterior foundation walls on both buildings. Contractor will add additional signage throughout the parking lot area. Base bid will include installation of new 1’ X 6’ wheel stops, each secured with epoxy resin and (3) #4 bars. Install new striping and signage for (2) ADA parking spots, parking striping per city standards with numbered stalls, and curb painting with fire lane signage.
