Description
King County Housing Authority will accept Bids from Qualified General Contractors to furnish labor, materials and necessary equipment to perform interior upgrades to the existing building lobby as listed in the bid documents.
Scope of Work
The Work of this Project consists of the renovation of the King County Housing Authority’s Central Office lobby, located in Tukwila, Washington. The facility is a two-story concrete tilt-up structure originally constructed in the 1980s. The building will remain fully occupied by KCHA staff and operational throughout the construction period. Safety and accessibility for occupants must be constantly maintained. Contractor will coordinate directly with KCHA for the removal of existing security cameras and devices.
Interior upgrades to the existing building lobby. Scope includes the installation of a living wall system and a minor slab on grade demo, and the installation of drainage pipe. Minor interior infill framing, minor demo on the second floor to increase the opening at the mezzanine. New interior finishes on the floor, wall, and ceiling. New lighting fixtures on the first floor, Second floor, and stairway.
