Description
The King County Housing Authority will accept Bids from Qualified General Contractors to furnish labor, materials and necessary equipment to complete a design/build fire monitoring system as listed in the bid documents.
Scope of Work
Juanita Trace consists of (14) 2-story buildings and (1) single-story building with a total of (39) dwelling units. Units will be occupied at all times during construction. The Contractor is to add roof venting to existing composite shingle roofs at all buildings. The general scope of work is to add continuous venting using SmartVents at all buildings. Install continuous venting with new ice and water shield per manufacturers’ recommendations approximately six (6’) feet up roof line from bottom roof edge. At all over-framed roofs (crickets) the Contractor is to provide 2” holes at 9” OC at insulation height for lower over-framed section and install new Famco FA50 static roof vents at upper section, as indicated on the plans. All work for this project is to be performed from outside the roof attics.
