Online Application Guides
Submitting Your Application
-
Please review the job announcement carefully for minimum qualifications.
-
Provide all information requested. Applications may be rejected if incomplete.
-
Do not type “see resume” on your application. It is important that the application show all the relevant education and experience you possess. You may attach your resume to the application; however, you must include your employment history in the online application to be considered for employment.
-
Save your work! The online application system allows a short period of time for you to complete each section of your application. Be sure to use the option to save your work.
-
We accept applications only for positions that are currently open for recruitment.
-
If you are interested in a position that is not currently advertised, sign up to receive an email notification with a job interest card.
-
If you are having technical problems with the online application system, please contact
1-888-NEOGOV1 or 1-888-636-4681.
After You Submit Your Application
-
Be patient. At the first review date and/or after the position closes, we carefully review all applications received. This may take several weeks, and the actual selection and interview process may last several weeks. We will contact you as soon as possible if you have been selected to advance in the selection process.
-
You can check the status of your application by logging into the online application system and clicking “Application Status”.
-
Your application will be considered and reviewed in contrast with other applications received, so that we can identify the most-qualified applicants. Depending on this review, you may be invited to participate in additional selection activities such as interviews and tests. We will also conduct reference and background checks.
-
Due to the large volume of applicants, you will only be contacted if you were chosen to advance in the selection process.
